Six-year-old Nakshatra was stabbed to death by her father at home. Arumkola took place at 7.30 pm on Wednesday. Shri Mahesh killed the child with an axe. Srimahesh’s mother, Sunanda, who came running after hearing the commotion, saw the boy lying on the couch with cuts. Accused also assaulted Sunanda who ran out after making noise. He also tried to attack the nearby residents who ran away.
Sri Mahesh’s wife committed suicide three years ago. He was in the Gulf and came back after the death of his father. Sri Mahesh’s remarriage with a woman constable was decided. But after learning about his personality disorder, the marriage ended.
Meanwhile, the police concluded that the murder was planned. The police found that the boy was killed with a specially prepared ax by Sri Mahesh. The police also stated that he was deeply disappointed after his remarriage with the woman constable failed. Locals also responded that Shrimahesh had mental problems.
