Monique Westenberg (43), the ex of singer André Hazes, has engaged a team of therapists to get more balance and peace in her life. She has had sad months: in March it was announced that her engagement with the folk singer had been broken.

Westenberg writes on Instagram that she has immersed herself a lot in recent months. ‘In where my happiness is, but also what gives me balance and peace. Because of this, beautiful people have come my way,” she writes. One of those ‘beautiful people’ is former Miss Universe Netherlands Charlotte Labee, nowadays ‘brain balance expert‘. And Westenberg finds that interesting, as it turns out. She has now engaged Labee and her team of therapists. ‘I am going to work to create even more balance, peace, energy and health for myself.’

That includes more than just therapeutic sessions on the sofa or seeking relaxation, she says. “For example, I will have various tests done in the near future, such as a blood and intestinal test, to see what else I can tackle,” writes the mother of little Dré, who she received together with Hazes. ‘I find it a challenge to work with balance in such a personal and broad way.’ Her post is probably Labee sponsored as she uses the hashtag partner.

Sad circumstances
Earlier this month, Westenberg spoke for the first time about the sudden break with Hazes (27). The couple had just announced their wedding at the end of last year, when in March the bomb suddenly burst and he ran off. A short time later, Hazes started a relationship with influencer Sarah van Soelen (25). In an interview Westenberg said: ,,I am stable and happy again, but under sad circumstances.”
