To call Joline De Moor a big fan of Harry Styles is an understatement. The Ghent Fashion Technology student was featured in Het Nieuwsblad this week because she had already camped at the entrance of the Sportpaleis a day and a half in advance. It’s a question of being able to stand in the front row for sure. “He’s a great artist,” she says. ”But above all he gives me a place where I can be myself. The fans are a real family, which means a lot to me.”
That first row, she made it. But what happened during the concert, birthday boy Joline had not dared to hope. A sign she held up read: “Thank you for giving me a family on my birthday”. That message, along with Joline’s colorful attire, caught Harry’s attention. “I was wearing a homemade jacket and skirt inspired by his outfit at the recent Coachella festival. We had regular eye contact, and on a previous song he’d addressed me very quietly and congratulated me on my birthday. That was already unbelievable.” (read more below the photo)
