Pforzheim / Enzkreis / Calw district. The State Health Office (LGA) reported only one new corona case for the Enz district on Friday. This reduces the 7-day incidence there from 96.7 to 94.2. It is the second day in a row that the Enzkreis is below the 100 market. In Pforzheim and in the Calw district, too, the values continued to decline.
According to the LGA, there were ten new infections in the Calw district, the 7-day incidence on Friday was 84.2. The day before, the circle was still 104.3 according to the data from the State Health Office. According to the Robert Koch Institute, whose values are decisive for the lifting of the federal emergency brake, this was also below 100 on Thursday. Therefore, the district of Calw is making further easing on Sunday. Among other things, the gastronomy will then be allowed to reopen.

In Pforzheim, meanwhile, they hope that they will soon be able to at least offer “Click & Meet” in retail outlets again. In the Enzkreis, this is again allowed from Saturday, as the 7-day incidence was below 150 for five working days in a row. In Pforzheim, the value fell after eight new infections on Friday from 140.5 to 133.4. Thus, the Goldstadt has now been below the 150 mark for four working days. Should that also be the case on Saturday, there could be the first easing in the coming week in Pforzheim.
Pforzheim has the third highest incidence in the country.
Even if the incidence continues to fall, Pforzheim still has one of the highest values in all of Baden-Württemberg. According to the LAG, only the Zollernalb district (177.4) and the district of Rottweil (143.0) have a higher 7-day incidence than the Goldstadt. Viewed across Baden-Württemberg, the incidence on Friday was 80.6.
20 new infections in Mühlacker
The high number of infections in Mühlacker is still causing discussions in the broadcasting city. As before, Mühlacker in the Enzkreis has the highest number of new cases. According to the Enz district health department, 20 people have been infected with the corona virus since Tuesday (May 18). This is followed by Birkenfeld (13 new infections), Königsbach-Stein and Niefern-Öschelbronn (both 10). A total of 110 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Enzkreis since Tuesday, and 97 in Pforzheim.

More deaths
According to the Enzkreis website, there has been another corona-related death in Pforzheim. The LGA reported four deaths for the district of Calw.

As of Friday, 22 people with a corona infection are being treated in the Siloah St. Trudpert Klinikum, six of them are in the intensive care unit. There are also five suspected cases. The Helios Clinic in Pforzheim has 18 corona patients on its wards. Six of them require intensive medical treatment. The RKH Klinikum in Mühlacker has slightly fewer corona cases. There are ten Covid patients here, two of them are in the intensive care unit. Meanwhile, 14 people who tested positive for an infection with the coronavirus are in inpatient treatment in the clinics in the Calw district.
