Kozhikode ∙ It is suspected that the young woman was called to the flat and tortured with the help of the film-serial actress who introduced the young woman to the accused by offering her an opportunity to act in a film. The case is being investigated by the Nadakavu police on the complaint of a twenty-four-year-old woman from Kottayam. The police took a statement from the Kannur native who introduced the young woman to the accused in the movie-serial. According to the clues given by them, the police suspect that the accused are youths from Tirurangadi and Parapanangadi in Malappuram district. The search is on for them.
