Hands down from the 3rd of March and Bulgaria!

/Pogled.info/ We, the members of the Discussion Club for Left Ideas “Georgi Kirkov” Kazanlak, are categorically opposed to the proposal of the “Bulgarian janissaries” to change the date of the national holiday of the Republic of Bulgaria – from March 3 to May 24. This proposal is anti-Bulgarian and anti-state.

It was on March 3, 1878 that Mother Bulgaria rose to a new life from under the bones and blood of the tens of thousands of Bulgarian victims who gave their lives for the Freedom of the Fatherland in the fight against the Turkish invaders. Are we going to let the death of Levski, Botev, Karadjata, Hitov, Rakovski, Benkovski and all proud Bulgarians be sold for pennies by today’s corrupt political clique?! Are we going to be silent… and silent… and silent…, as we were silent while Levski was being led to the gallows?

People!!!????

After a number of unsuccessful attempts to change the name of one of the symbols of Bulgarian freedom – Shipka, the modern “janissaries” and apostates concentrated on erasing not only March 3rd, but also attempted to erase Bulgarian history and memory!

March 3 is a date that gives new life to statehood in Bulgaria. Until the signing of the San Stefano peace treaty, hundreds of thousands of victims were given, the cries of the bloody battles of Shipka, Sheynovo, Stara Zagora, Pleven and others still echo for the protection of the Bulgarian land and people. Even in Batak lie the bones of Bulgarian children who died from the Turkish scimitar.

Today, the members of the “Georgi Kirkov” Discussion Club, categorically say:

Hands down from March 3rd!

Hands down from Bulgaria!”

We call on every single Bulgarian, within the borders of the homeland and beyond, to protect his country from the decision of the forefathers!
