–bonus seconds are there in each stage at the finish: 10, 6 and 4 seconds (except in the time trials)
–bonus seconds there are six stages (2, 7, 8, 11, 14 and 15) at the top of the last or penultimate ascent: 8, 5 and 2 seconds
–double mountain points can be earned in stage 11 (second ascent of the Ventoux), stage 17 (Col de Portet) and stage 18 (Luz-Ardiden).
–uphill arrivals there are actually only three times, although in Tignes it is still two kilometers flat at the top: stages 9, 17 and 18. Mountain stages 8, 11 and 15 finish downhill.
–Highlight of the Tour is reached in stage 15, with the Port d’Envalira: 2,408 meters.
