Operation: Spirit of Fire

As part of the CU29 update, a special event called Operation: Spirit of Fire has been launched. This event runs from January 30 to March 5 and offers a plethora of customization rewards for players to earn. The legendary Mark IV Armor Core can be acquired for free during this event. Furthermore, there are 20 tiers of free customization rewards up for grabs, including armor attachments, coatings, weapon charms, emblems, and more. Players can opt for two additional premium options to enhance their Operation experience: the durable Operation Pass for 500 credits and the instant unlock of all 20 tiers for 2,000 credits.

Illusion: A New Map

The CU29 update introduces a brand-new map to the Halo Infinite universe – Illusion. This map takes players to an abandoned ONI black site where experiments with Covenant technology have taken place. Illusion pays homage to the map design of the classic Halo: Combat Evolved and offers a unique gameplay experience with a camouflaged corridor that turns players invisible.

Multi-Use Shoulder Customization

Halo Infinite’s customization system continues to expand with the introduction of multi-use shoulder pads. These shoulder pads can be equipped across any Armor Core, enhancing the ability to create truly unique Spartan looks. This new feature is retroactive, meaning that all existing shoulder pads are multi-core enabled and all future shoulder pads will be multi-core as well. With the addition of multi-core customization options, the possibilities for customization are virtually endless!

Forge Updates

Forge mode has received significant updates with CU29, taking it to new heights of creativity and customization. Some of the highlights of the new additions and improvements include:

  • Over 70 new Covenant-themed structure pieces, primitives, accents, and decals that enable forgers to create exciting experiences reminiscent of Halo’s roots.
  • The Forge Mode Creator, which allows players to script modes in the Node Graph like a prefab. Mode logic will no longer count towards the map’s budget, making it easier for modes to be shared, played, and featured in community maps.
  • Improved foliage objects with adjustable colors and the addition of decals that mimic stains and foliage overgrowth. These additions provide for further map decoration and detail.

Silver Team and Halo Television Series
