Jamaica police recently reported that a half-naked floating body was recovered from the seashore. Identity comparison found that it was female internet celebrity Townsend (Aneka “Slickianna” Townsend) with up to 320,000 internet followers .
According to extensive foreign media reports, Jamaican police received a report from the public at 9:30 local time on the 21st, which stated that there was a half-naked body floating on the sea in Reading (Reading), a coastal town in Parish of Sant’Andrea. In addition to being semi-naked, the body had strange head injuries and a bloodstained towel and wig were found at the scene. The identity of the deceased was confirmed as Townsend, 35.

Townsend has a whopping 320,000 followers on IG alone. He not only supports many brands, but he also has his own clothing brand, which is quite famous in Jamaica. After news of her death spread, locals also held memorial services for her by candlelight.
A police investigation led to the arrest of a man, Rushane “Chizzie” Patterson, who committed a sexual assault in 2013. Paterson’s whereabouts are currently unknown and the exact cause of Townsend’s death and the accident. still need to be further clarified by the police.
