Her:Money for digitization not called up

At the moment the students are sitting at home anyway and hopefully their parents have provided them with the best technology and a functioning WiFi connection. At the Ernst-Mach-Gymnasium there have been major problems recently in bringing the school equipment up to date with modern technology. The municipality and the association had already made the money available for this in 2019. But nothing went on. As mayor and special-purpose association chairman Andreas Bukowski (CSU) recently explained in the association assembly, there was quite a lot of trouble with the company commissioned with the equipment. This had proven to be a “total failure” and the funding program finally expired without being ordered. Finally, as Bukowski said, there was a “fire letter” from the school management to the town hall. This “was also necessary”, as he said. The community then quickly created a procurement plan and tried to get things off the ground. The first Apple TV modules have already been delivered. More technology will come. Director Gabriele Langner praised the “very, very constructive cooperation” that the school and the town hall had come together for over the past few weeks and months in order to advance digitization. 216,000 euros are available in the budget of the association for this purpose in 2021.
