Former defender Manchester CityJoleon Lescott, impressed with Erling Haaland. Lescott went so far as to compare Haaland to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Haaland was signed by City from Borussia Dortmund this summer. The Norwegian striker was recruited for a total transfer value of 85.5 million euros.
Haaland came to City with a reputation as one of the most fertile in Europe. He scored 86 goals in 89 games for Dortmund.

Joleon Lescott assesses Erling Haaland is not just technically superior. He also considered Haaland to have a physical and temperament similar to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“I think you can compare Haaland to Zlatan,” said Lescott Mirror.
“I like that. He will put pressure on himself to score goals and win. I like the personality he seems to have.”
“I didn’t really know him, but it’s clear from social media that he’s someone who knows what he wants and what he represents.”
“Haaland’s status and existence reminds me of Zlatan. It’s his style, his body, his beliefs. He has these qualities. I wouldn’t call him arrogant. It’s more about complete confidence in his abilities,” he said.
