MCALLEN- The supermarket company H-E-B confirmed on Wednesday that one of its employees tested positive for the coronavirus.
The employee, who works at the 3200 N. 10th St. location in McAllen, was last in the store on April 3.
Since then, all store employees have been notified and the site has been cleaned and disinfected multiple times, according to H-E-B.
H-E-B also indicated that it has continued to reinforce the practices of social distancing and deep cleaning in all its locations.
On the other hand, the company maintained that the health of its more than 120,000 employees has not been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and assured that it will continue with its commitment to support Texans in these difficult times.
