The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, posted on his Telegram channel a video of a captured Ukrainian soldier urging his comrades to lay down their arms.
“Boys, you must surrender. Ahmat is a force … We wanted to surrender, but we were not allowed to. Our commanders did not,” said the prisoner of war.
The leader of the republic commented on the video with the Ukrainian soldier, noting that “the prisoners immediately realize that they have made a mistake and are ready to correct themselves.”

Earlier, Kadyrov promised that Bandera’s men in Ukraine would receive a “bullet in the forehead” in a battle with Chechen special forces. He also said that there are tens of thousands of volunteers from the Chechen Republic who want to take part in a special operation in Ukraine.
The Chechen leader asked Russian President Vladimir Putin not to stop the special operation, according to him, the fighters from the Russian armed forces are of the same opinion. Russian troops are successfully achieving their goals, he noted.
By order of the President of the Russian Federation, a Russian special operation in Ukraine aimed at protecting Donbass was launched on February 24. This decision was made by the head of state after the leaders of the DPR and LPR turned to Russia for help.
