Bandai Namco Group’s cross-sectional project “Gundam Project”, Bandai Namco Film Works, and Sotsu will be hosting a special program every week from January 7, 2024 to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series in 2024. It will be broadcast on TV Tokyo 6 stations online from 10am on Sunday. Among these, all three episodes of “Gundam Build Metaverse” will be broadcast for the first time on TV.
From January 7th, the event will be titled “Gundam 45th Anniversary! Gundam Build Series SP Selection” and will feature the past four works of the “Gundam Build Series”, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year (“Gundam Build Fighters”, “Gundam Build Fighters Try”). , “Gundam Build Divers”, “Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE”) episode 1 is broadcast every week.
Then, from 10:00 on February 4th, the “Gundam 45th Anniversary Special Program (tentative)” will be broadcast, and from the 11th of the following week, a special program produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the “Gundam Build Series”, which is being distributed on Gundam Channel and other channels, will be broadcast. All three episodes of “Gundam Build Metaverse” will be broadcast for the first time on TV.
The Gundam 45th Anniversary Special Program (tentative title) will look back on the 45 years since the 1979 Mobile Suit Gundam TV anime broadcast and the 10-year history of the Gundam Build series. Details will be announced at a later date.
The Gundam Build series is a video work that depicts the world of Gundam and the enjoyment of Gunpla through Gunpla, with the theme of Gunpla Battle, which uses plastic models from the Gundam series, Gunpla. Tondamecha (Gunpla) is attractive.
