Gullruten 2022: Audience favorite – VG

On Saturday night, the stage was set for the award ceremony in the Grieg Hall in Bergen. Here, the cream of Norwegian TV programs and personalities was chosen under the leadership of Niklas Baarli.

Comedian Herman Flesvig (30) has had enormous success with the NRK series «First-time service». Tonight he walked away with one of the most generous prizes – Gullruten’s audience award – the only category where the Norwegian people get to vote for their TV favorite during Gullruten.

– This is an ego price. If there is anyone who did not need more self-confidence, it is me, he says jokingly on stage.

It was a happy Flesvig who met the press afterwards. He says that it means a lot to him to get such recognition.

– It will probably be to celebrate with nice people.

He shares the prize with family, friends and everyone who knows him.

– And the fans, he adds

One of the evening’s first prizes went to TV 2’s wild viewer success “Kompani Lauritzen”, which was named this year’s competition-driven reality series. Dag Otto Lauritzen (65) and Kristian Ødegård (48) have really shot the golden bird with the reality series.

– We are a bit like dog and cat, but then there is love at the bottom. I push him in some contexts, he also pushes me in other contexts, Lauritzen says about the friendship.

Jon Almaas (54) and Solveig Kloppen (50) walked away with the Gullruten award for best presenter – entertainment for their efforts in “Alle mot alle”. Kloppen switched to TV Norway two years ago, after almost 20 years in TV 2.

– It is a bit annoying that it is only a price when we are two people, because we have not agreed on who should have it on the fireplace shelf first, Almaas says.

Who will take the prize home is currently unknown.

The series «Basic Bitch» on Discovery – with Kristine Grændsen, Karin Klouman, Emilie Skolmen and Ada Otilde Skjong Eide in the lead, took home the award for best comedy program.

– We talked about that we should be a little cooler when we went out there, but we could not, says Skolmen.

The girls say they did not expect an award tonight.

– It is very nice to see that girls are very funny in a way, says Eide.

Grændsen, who plays “Anine” in the series, told the red carpet that “Basic Bitch” has been a bit of an adventure.

– I do not know how many times we have looked each other in the eyes and said like “remember to enjoy this”

The girls said that they did not know each other before, but have after three seasons become good friends.

– We have been looking forward to this weekend, which we have planned very carefully. Everything from when we should get up and what we should do during the day, says Grændsen.

– And what kind of face masks we should use, so there we were very well prepared, Klouman shoots.

This was a great evening for Henriette Steenstrup during this year’s award ceremony. She ran away with the award for best actress, and “Pørni” was named the winner in the prestigious category – best drama series.

– I’m a little shaky, because I’ve been a little nervous. It may sound a bit silly, but it meant a lot to me to be nominated. I have also thought that we are a little small in this context, it is not certain we will win anything, but then you get a little desire to win and then, she says to VG.
