Six guitarists from four nations
AKKORDE guitar festival on the Upper Rhine
The Ensemble Guitarra a Seis Portuguese: Guitar for Six was founded in 2011. Six renowned soloists, who have won numerous awards and prizes in international competitions, came together to discover new worlds of sound for the guitar. With the instruments, some of which were specially developed for you, you can achieve a range of five and a half octaves. This gives the ensemble the opportunity to play orchestral works without octaving. The line-up is complemented by various percussion instruments.
The six musicians’ program includes their own arrangements by Johann Sebastian Bach to Frank Zappa. They also write pieces like Tobias Krebs’ Swinging Sextet. A CD recorded in early 2021 will be released soon.

Matthias Klger, Germany
studied with Sonja Prunnbauer, Alberto Ponce, teaches in Zurich and Freiburg.
Tobias Krebs, Switzerland
Composer and guitarist, teaches at the Conservatory Music School in Zurich.
Adam Oleczak, Poland
studied in Warsaw, Lucerne, teaches in Oberwil.
Edmauro de Oliveira, Brasilien
studied in So Paulo, Winterthur, teaches at the Winterthur Conservatory.
Harald Stampa, Germany
studied with Hans Grf, Oscar Ghiglia, teaches at the Baden Cantonal School and at the Kalaidos Music Academy. Harald Stampa is co-founder of the AKKORDE guitar festival on the Upper Rhine.
Jens Stibal, Germany
studied with Alvaro Pierri, Oscar Ghiglia, teaches at the music school Zurich Conservatory. Jens Stibal is the founder of Guitarra a Seis.
