For the first time, the exhibition project gives an overview of female art in Styria from 1850 to 1950, thereby correcting the history of art. Around 1850 the first generation of women was born for whom a career as a freelance artist was even possible. The topics range from flower painting, still life, portraits, landscapes and travel pictures, but also nudes, posters, illustrations and depictions of the self-confident image of women can be seen in the exhibition.
