A robbery broke out on the Elisabethkai on Saturday morning. Several men are said to have robbed and beaten a Salzburg man.

On the night of Saturday around 3:30 a.m., a 19-year-old from Salzburg was attacked from behind on Elisabethkai. The perpetrators are said to have been a group of five to six young men, as the Salzburg State Police Department announced on Saturday morning. The men had hit the Salzburg man from behind. When he went down, they continued to kick him with their fists and legs. The perpetrators demanded that the Salzburg man give them his rucksack. The victim finally complied with this request. The Salzburg man was taken to the state hospital with injuries of an indefinite degree. More was not yet known, the investigations into the perpetrators are ongoing.
