MAASTRICHT – A group of doctors wants to get the Netherlands on a bicycle helmet. According to them, bicycle helmets can prevent a lot of suffering. “Wearing a bicycle helmet reduces the risk of serious brain injury by 60 percent and fatal brain injury by 71 percent,” say the founders of think tank Doctors for Safe Cycling.
