Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) must be digitally literate in order to compete in the global market. This is because MSMEs contribute as a driver of the local and national economy.
Sampoerna’s Head of Commercial Business Development, Rima Tanago said, for example, at this time grocery store must also be transformed according to the needs of the times.
Rima said that currently the Sampoerna Retail Community (SRC) grocery store network under the guidance of PT HM Sampoerna Tbk brought significant changes to its members, which now have reached 160,000 grocery stores throughout Indonesia.
He revealed the transformation grocery store be adaptive and innovative to the needs of today’s society. Rima hopes that the presence of SRC will mobilize the community to support MSMEs by shopping at grocery stores.
“The presence of grocery stores in Indonesia has been close to the community since ancient times. So, this heritage and tradition needs to be maintained. That’s why we are also active in supporting the digitization of grocery stores by releasing the AYO SRC TOKO application whose system is always updated from time to time so that stores grocery stores can adapt to the digital era,” he explained, Monday (30/5/2022).
Rima said that the SRC grocery traders, the community as consumers, business partners, and other stakeholders need to continue to be nurtured so that their impact and contribution will be felt for the common good. Network strength grocery store which is widely spread in 34 provinces in Indonesia, said Rima, is expected to be more beneficial for the economy and people’s welfare.
“Solidarity is the main foundation of the SRC grocery store, which in the future is projected to become the largest and integrated grocery store network in Indonesia. We hope that our commitment can be supported by all components of society because together we are versatile in bringing about change,” he explained.
