“My first step was driven by the desire to no longer depend on my parents and generate income independently when I was in high school,” he said in an official statement, quoted Saturday (30/7/2022).
Armed with that determination, Rio decided to take the first small step in his journey of building a business, namely selling accessories cell phone. Rio’s business turned out to be profitable to encourage him to continue running the business until he graduated from school.

In developing his business through the Kahasil store, Rio always tries to be observant in reading opportunities. He said that he always observes trends to get new opportunities.
Armed with the capital generated from his business selling accessories cell phone, Rio ventured to seek his fortune in the city of Bandung.
Departing from Ciamis to Bandung City armed with knowledge and previous selling experience, Rio tried new selling tactics.
Rio then tried his luck by becoming a wholesale reseller of bags and wallets.
“I see an opportunity to sell bags and wallets in Bandung. Moreover, many Bandung residents want to look trendy,” said Rio.
He was also moved to try selling through e-commerce platforms seeing that many people had started shopping online.
“I dare to try it first. Finally, I got the first sale at Lazada,” said Rio.
Rio’s foresight to adapt and look for opportunities around him finally paid off with the creation of the Kahasil store which focused on selling bags and wallets in 2018.
Carrying the spirit of “must succeed” as a business development philosophy, Rio continues to learn how to market his products on Lazada.
Despite having a hard time at the beginning, Rio didn’t feel discouraged. He is even more determined to understand and improve his ability to market products.
Not only focusing on selling, Rio’s business also has an impact on the people around him.
After seeing his shop slowly growing, Rio has an even bigger vision to develop a brand with homemade products.
Rio again took a bigger step to return to his hometown, Ciamis, and look for craft partners and produce goods for Kahasil.
One of the craft partners who produce Kahasil products is Tata, who was originally a porter with sewing skills.
“Meeting Rio was a godsend for me. Besides having the opportunity to change my destiny, I also learned about business and how to sell digitally,” said Tata.
Not wanting to be successful alone, Kahasil also invites craftsmen, communities and housewives in Ciamis to work together.
Through Kahasil, Rio also tried out the opportunity to sell food products produced by housewives in the vicinity, which were named Kahasil Snack.
Rio’s concern for the surrounding environment has presented many new opportunities for the surrounding community to participate in developing with Kahasil.
Rio was moved to focus on selling one of the products best seller Kahasil, namely the waist bag variant, which has sold more than 100,000 bags.
Not only that, Rio decided to expand by selling watches.
Now, Rio has succeeded in becoming a producer and has its own warehouse in Ciamis to meet customer demands from all corners of Indonesia.
With every step of his efforts, Rio and his team are advancing and developing into capable digital economic actors. Rio is now able to get revenue to hundreds of millions every month.
