Greece has embittered the lives of tourists with new restrictions

Clubs and open-air music venues in Greece will also work only for clients who have been vaccinated or have contracted COVID-19, according to a decree published today on new measures against coronavirus in Greece, quoted by Kathimerini and BTA.

Until now, the ban was supposed to be in force only for indoor premises, but the government has decided specifically to expand the scope of restrictions specifically for clubs and music centers.

For all indoor establishments, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and theaters, it is forbidden to be visited by unvaccinated or untreated clients.

Minors who are outside the vaccination age group can visit them after a self-test, which is declared by the parents.

Masks are mandatory in theaters and cinemas.

Only vaccinated or ill visitors will also be allowed on indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

Cafes, bars and outdoor restaurants will also accept unvaccinated and non-vaccinated customers, and the owners can designate separate spaces for vaccinated / ill and other customers.

The same applies to open-air theaters and concerts, where wearing a mask will be mandatory.

Customers who enter places where only the vaccinated or the sick are allowed must present a document certifying it, as well as an ID card, passport or driver’s license, Sky TV reported.

Vaccination is certified with the appropriate certificate on paper or in electronic form, and the disease – with a document issued 30 days after the first negative test and valid for 180 days.
