Endangered World Heritage
The list of endangered world heritages mainly includes locations that are in poor condition due to war, severe weather or poor maintenance, such as ancient cities in Iraq, archaeological finds in Libya and a number of game reserves in Africa.
Within Europe, two locations are under threat: the inner city of Vienna (due to high-rise projects that would affect the historic inner city) and a number of medieval monasteries in Kosovo.
The English port city of Liverpool has recently been added to the UNESCO World Heritage Listf deleted, because the historic center has been affected by new construction and redevelopment. There are also plans for a new stadium for Everton football club.
