The operations – For the research, which will resume on Monday morning, the men of the Alpine Rescue intervened together with those of the Guardia di Finanza. At the origin of the accident there is the collapse of a snow bridge, which precipitated the young man. During the operations to recover it, the still dangerous parts of the crevasse were scuffed, protecting the area where the mountaineer is located with the use of an inflatable ball: a sort of “airbag” that allowed to divert ice and snow next to the operating area. Rescuers are confident that they can reach the climber in the ice crack.
