The Government received 500 thousand Sinopharm vaccines this Wednesday and proceeded to distribute them, which according to Minister Auza allows to expand the age range that was from 40 years onwards until now. He clarified that all people who are over 30 years old can be vaccinated and it is not limited only to those in the 30 to 39 years range.
According to his explanation, the vaccines were distributed as follows: Santa Cruz 105,600 doses, Cochabamba 88,200, La Paz 70,400, Oruro 52,800, Tarija 52,800, Chuquisaca 52,800, Potosí 35,200, Beni 26,400 and Pando was the department that received 16,000, making a total of 500,200 doses in total.
Despite these figures, the Government does not know until when normality can return because so far 21% of the vaccinable population has been vaccinated, calculated by the government of 7,180,428 people.
