On Saturday night, vandals were active again in Graz: At around 1:25 a.m., two 17-year-olds from Graz damaged several cars in Ibererstrasse by deliberately hitting the side mirrors. The tour of devastation was then continued in Grafenbergstrasse, where they also damaged cars and set fire to a garbage can.
Witness shows moral courage
They were only observed by a witness on Wiener Strasse when the young people tried to set fire to a garbage can again. He then called the police. The law enforcement officials were then able to investigate the culprits. An alcohol test carried out showed an average degree of alcoholization. Further surveys are still required. The “balance sheet” is terrifying: In total, the perpetrators damaged 14 cars, a telephone booth and two rubbish bins.
