Gordon has tested positive for the coronavirus. Talpa confirms this to NU.nl, after reporting by Show news. The singer has no serious complaints, but the recordings of the TV program are as a precaution 100 Years Young shut down for the time being.
The virus was found in Gordon when he was tested during the shooting of 100 Years Young. “Despite the fact that presenter Gordon showed no complaints, his results turned out to be positive last week,” Talpa wrote in the statement.
A Talpa spokesperson confirms that it only concerns Gordon and that no one else among his contacts has tested positive for COVID-19. Nevertheless, the recordings of the program have been stopped as a precaution. These will be resumed later.
The 52-year-old singer is doing well under the circumstances. “He is in home quarantine and still shows no symptoms,” Talpa reports.
The recordings of 100 Years Young went started again last August. It is not yet known when the second season will be broadcast.
