Marc and Gordon would chat with each other for a special project by the theater maker. He has been diagnosed with cancer again, so he wanted to have an audiovisual portrait made of himself. In this way, his children Livia (3) and James (1) have a way to get to know their father, should he not get as old as he hopes at the moment. Nearly thirty Dutch people wanted to participate in this, including Gordon. But in a preliminary conversation he said he felt “no click”, Marc said. The singer canceled.

Gordon now reveals his side of the story. “Marc only made a first personal contact with Gordon a week before the start,” said his management. “This conversation revealed that Gordon and Marc did not have the right click. This is a charged and important topic for which a mutual good feeling is important. Gordon is in a very positive flow and would like these topics that he can do like no other treat, discuss with his sense of humor and own insight. “

The reason that management would have given earlier is incorrect. “It has nothing to do with a trip abroad as suggested,” they say. “As a result of the last-minute conversation, Gordon did not feel that it would work out. Annoyingly, of course, that Gordon did not have the click, but also a pity that Marc only contacted Gordon so last minute.”

Who will be Gordon’s replacement is not yet clear. Marc still has Eva Jinek, Janine Abbring, Humberto Tan, Paul de Leeuw, Claudia de Breij and Eric Corton, among others. The profit of the theater piece New insights is being donated to a project to fight bladder cancer.
