Deep regret and pain was caused by the sudden departure of Don Roberto González Toro, a dear friend and member of the Rotary Club Cachapoal, who leaves a void in our community, and who always stood out in the illustration, concepts and considerations that gave meaning to the personality and character that described the appreciated man, husband, father, grandfather, friend and Rotary member.
Don Roberto will always follow the mark left by his actions in the practice of perseverance, grace and enthusiasm in all the activities of his life.
“Monín”, as we affectionately called him, was a Rotarian who, in a silent and simple way, left a legacy in his selfless and outstanding activity at the service of the community.
A friend who practiced a high concept of friendship, an example of collaboration in Rotary activities and an enthusiastic domino player, which led him to be recognized by those closest to him in his struggles with this board game.
Despite his acute illnesses, he made a great effort to stay connected and participate in the different activities of Rotary, while continuing to support the actions carried out by his beloved Rotary Club.
Your friends are here to say goodbye to you in this last tribute, but we are certain that wherever you are, they will be participating in the next Rotary meeting, along with the friends who preceded you on this eternal journey.
Your departure immersed us in the emotion and sadness of not seeing you again. However, each of us knows that your good deeds and the endearing love for your family can only lead you to the peaceful rest you deserve.
