Jakarta (ANTARA) – During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people turned to telemedicine to consult on health issues for fear of contracting the corona virus if they came directly to health facilities, so that these service providers also achieved rapid growth.
Good Doctor’s telemedicine service also experienced a significant growth compared to last year, which was up to 10 times.

Danu said there are three most popular services at Good Doctor, namely consultation with general practitioners and specialist doctors, purchasing health products and booking a COVID-19 test.

Meanwhile, Good Doctor collaborated with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Indonesian Telemedicine Alliance (Attention) to create a special program that serves patients or people living with HIV / AIDS (PLWHA).
This program also received support from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia as an effort to stop new cases of HIV / AIDS, no deaths due to HIV / AIDS, and no stigma and discrimination against PLHIV.
This telemedicine service also functions so that PLWHA still receive proper treatment even in a pandemic situation.
