This was reported by the chairman of the Republican Party One Hasnaeni Moein aka ‘Golden Woman’ the general chairman of the General Election Commission (KPUs) RI Hasyim Asy’ari to the Election Organizer’s Ethics Council (DKPP) regarding allegations of sexual harassment.
The report was received by DKPP under the number 01-22/SET-02/XII/2022 on Thursday (22/12).
“Therefore on December 22nd [2022]to be precise this afternoon, he made a report on immorality and ethics, right to the DKPP as a body that has the duty to process existing ethical violations, for the election organizers, KPU and Bawaslu,” said the prosecutor of Hasnaeni, Farhat Abbas, at the DKPP Office, Thursday (22/12).
Farhat said his party had attached a variety of evidence of ethics violations and alleged acts of decency suffered by his client.
“The evidence that was brought was testimony, then in the form of video recordings, then evidence of WA communication and photos of buying a ticket to Jogja, then photos of being together and so on,” he said.
This move to complain to DKPP was taken after Hasnaeni previously sent a subpoena against Hasyim on November 16, 2022.
The content of the summons is linked to pressure on Indonesian KPU chairman, Hasyim Asy’ari, to immediately clarify the allegations of sexual harassment.
Farhat said the sexual harassment allegations occurred on Aug. 13, 2022, Aug. 14, 2022, Aug. 15, 2022, Aug. 17, 2022, Aug. 18, 2022, Aug. 21, 2022, Aug. 22, 2022, Aug. 23, 2022, Aug. 25, 2022, 27 August 2022 and September 2, 2022 in five different locations.
Responding to the report, Hasyim responded briefly. He just said that he was following up on the progress of the report.
“We are following up on the DKPP complaint,” he said.
