Dancing, cycling, swimming among the whales, kayaking, watching a movie on the beach: after a decadent party for her 40th birthday, Kim Kardashian has now managed to organize a lavish holiday with the people she loves.

She is proud of it on social media. “After two weeks of testing and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my loved ones with a vacation on a private island where we could pretend for a moment as if everything was normal,” she writes on Twitter with the photos.

The wife of presidential candidate and rapper Kanye West writes to realize that she has been hit. “I realize that a vacation is an impossible dream for many people now, so at times like this I’m extra humble and grateful for how privileged I am.”

There was a lot of criticism of Kardashian’s tweets. People blame her for showing off her wealth. “You’d better give more money to charities,” some write. Others laugh about it heartily. “How can you surprise someone if you put them in quarantine for two weeks and have them tested?”
