GLOSS: Skillful buccaneers – Invisible dog

A little refreshment of memory. Pirate parties originally began to emerge in Europe so that they could steal freely on the Internet, sorry, download with impunity. In other words, they were born to defend the “freedom” of appropriating someone else’s intellectual property. This is also the origin of their innocently sincere thieving robbery name. After all, it has an unwavering logic. Sea pirates have also appropriated and are appropriating foreign things. In short: they just steal.

However, pirates have rarely managed to enter top politics. In this sense, the Czech Republic is rather an exception. Unfortunately!

It is interesting, however, where the pirates, in terms of understanding freedom, have moved in the few years of their existence. As for the “democratization” (understand: scoring) of intellectual property, everything seems to be the old, which in their provenance means a kind of “freedom” ad absurdum: what is yours is mine. But when it comes to another freedom, namely freedom of speech, they have not known each other for a long time. It would be paradoxical to say, but even this has its unwavering logic. The new left does not seek any freedom, it only federed its progressive themes. And any tools are good for her. Including censorship of social networks. However, Czech pirates in the European Parliament also perpetrate in the ultra-left faction among the Reds, who disguise themselves with a green shroud.

But what our pirates cannot be denied is the fact that they are media and marketing proficient and that they are learning fast. Dreadlocks and long hair are not an obstacle.

Nevertheless, in Czech politics – even with many exotics in parliamentary rooms – obviously everything is the same. The new cadres, flying a black flag with a skull and crossbones, orientated themselves very quickly on the local political pond. And so our pirates, like almost everyone else, have their mouths full of the fight against corruption and the misuse of public finances, but that doesn’t stop them when the opportunity arises to play a small home with public money. So rather big. Now they are currently demonstrating it in connection with Prague Pride.

The Prague City Hall, understand pirates and co., Sent a million crowns of public money to the LGBT festival Prague Pride. At the same time, the pirates joined Prague Pride to launch their election campaign. To sum up: Pirates sent a million crowns in public money for their own campaign.

Truly handy buccaneers!

Who would have said when the pirates came up with the election slogan “Let us go!” That they did not mean that we should let them out for political competition, but for plundering public budgets.
