“Global responsibility, global cooperation” – discussion event in the town hall

“Global responsibility, global cooperation” – this is what the discussion will be about on Friday, October 1st, 6.30pm to 10.30pm in the plenary hall of the Düsseldorf City Hall, Marktplatz 2. The discussion will take place as part of the “Long Night of Politics in Düsseldorf” .

How are the climate protection and sustainability strategies of Germany and the European Union implemented in business and society? What is the relationship between business and sustainability – and how can the potentials of both areas be combined? These future and Europe-relevant topics will be presented by three speakers and put up for discussion: Dr. Michael Pahle, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, presents the topic “Sustainably illuminated: Emissions trading”. Frank Burgdörfer, polyspective, explains “European climate policy” and Martin Hinteregger, Waste Reduction, provides information on “Paper versus plastic: our world, our responsibility”.
