The Scottish police said the offender in Glasgow was 28-year-old Badreddin Abadlla Adam. The man was from Sudan. According to investigators, this attack was not terrorist.

The incident occurred on an early Friday afternoon at the Park Inn Hotel in central Glasgow, where refugees and asylum seekers were accommodated during the epidemic. The perpetrator, who was an asylum seeker, attacked with a knife and wounded six people, including an unarmed policeman arrived, after which he was shot by police.

Police reported that they were still checking the exact circumstances of the incident as well as the use of weapons by the police.

Sky News said earlier this Saturday, a man who had arrived in the UK six months ago had been irrational for some time. He complained about the conditions in the hotel and the food, and threatened those living there. Other Sudanese reported that they were afraid of him.

According to the sources of this station, in the evening before the attack, some of the hotel guests expressed their concern about the mental state of the Sudanese, which was forwarded to an immigration officer. This late evening he was supposed to call the reception to tell the staff about these fears. And on Friday shortly before the attack, the clerk was supposed to talk to the later offender by phone.

The Scottish police also reported that all those injured in the attack are still in the hospital, but their condition is stable.
