Gladbach is not the only Bundesliga club that is interested in Bern-Juwel
The attacking midfielder is under contract with the Swiss first division club until 2025 and has a market value of around ten million euros.
Rieder, who is also already a national team player for the Confederates, is already flirting with a transfer in the summer: “I’ve been following the Bundesliga since I was a child, but I’m also open to other leagues. The Premier League for example. But if I could choose, it would be the Bundesliga, but I know it’s not a request concert.”
Borussia Mönchengladbach shouldn’t be the only club with top talent on their radar.
According to “Blick”, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen and TSG Hoffenheim are also interested.
Incidentally, Fabian Rieder is under contract with the same consulting agency as Gladbach defender Nico Elvedi (26), also a Swiss international.
Rieder became Swiss champion in 2021 with Young Boys Bern and is currently considered one of the greatest football talents in his home country.
