Manymore Films provides all income from Alva and the Rainbow Dragon in support of the victims of the war in Ukraine.

The film was originally released on April 16, 2019, and then relaunched for a period during the corona period. The number of visitors so far is 22,000 cinema tickets sold.

It is now being relaunched by Manymore Films – in collaboration with the cinemas, and in solidarity with Ukraine.

On that occasion, the film distributor has created new material characterized by the Ukrainian colors – yellow and blue.

One of the manufacturers behind Alva and the Rainbow Dragon, Yurii Levchuk, lives and lives in Kyiv, Ukraine with his family. Manymore Films is in constant contact with him. Yurii Levchuk is very happy that the film distributor chooses to support their film.

– We are not safe, but we stay here and help our friends and neighbors. Thank you for supporting us! writes the filmmaker.

Alva and the Rainbow Dragon is allowed for everyone and it is dubbed into Norwegian.

Cinemas throughout Norway are very positive about setting up the film immediately, reports Manymore Films.

All cinemas get the film transferred free of charge from MovieTransit as a support from Unique Digital Nordic.

The cinemas decide how their share of the proceeds is used in this context.

– It is an incredible situation the Ukrainians are in, and we want to be involved and do the little we can, says general manager Bjørg Veland in Manymore Films.

– We are very grateful that the cinemas have already started booking this cozy and exciting animated film, she concludes.
