Give you the ball! Puzzle platformer BEAM hits Steam on September 29th

Slide a calm ball? Not with BEAM! The puzzle platformer BEAM is the debut of the developer studio Binary Impact and will be released on September 29 for € 15.99 Steam. BEAM offers around 10 hours of tricky game fun and sends the player and his ball on the journey back to civilization through three main chapters, each with its own graphic style. The physics-puzzle-heavy puzzle platformer scores with a dynamic 3D environment, 2.5D game mechanics and simple controls.

The player takes on the role of Captain Martin, an enthusiastic but inexperienced cadet officer who is stationed on a large container ship in Stralsund. After an accident, Captain Martin finds himself in a rolling, AI-powered escape capsule: the MARBLE, with which Captain Martin now has to work. The players have to steer the ball through different, futuristic-looking levels, avoiding obstacles and being careful not to crash at all times. In order to reach the end of the respective level, the different gameplay mechanics of the different light beams must be used sensibly. While MARBLE can use orange light rays as a path with the help of smoke, red light rays, for example, are elastic and function as a trampoline. A total of five different light beams with their respective properties provide variety. However, if you come into contact with fire, you start at the last checkpoint.

While exploring the world there are always hidden Easter eggs and secrets to discover, and Steam trading cards and achievements can be collected. In addition, we are working on our own level editor with which players can create their own challenges. This will be available shortly after the release as part of a free update.

BEAM can now access the Steam Wishlist and is available from September 29th on Steam for € 15.99. Further information can be found at http://beam-game.com/ can be accessed.
