GIS: We thought weddings were going to be safe. We will present recommendations

This week we will present recommendations on the organization of weddings. We will appeal for smaller and shorter weddings, informed the Chief Sanitary Inspector Jarosław Pinkas. He also announced the introduction of a wedding register.

Pinkas, asked by money.pl, whether the decisions on organizing weddings will change, noted that “we are currently working on some recommendations”. In his opinion, “weddings are too big”.

We thought the weddings would be safe. The situation led to the fact that we know the weddings are too big – sometimes three times the size of our recommendations, there are older people there. It’s really there complete lack of distancing“- said the head of GIS.

He announced that decisions on the organization of weddings will appear this week, “in the next few days”. “We will urge the wearing of masks in closed spaces. That the weddings last shorter and that they are significantly smaller” – said Pinkas. As he added, “maybe weddings will be controlled”.

“Please accept the inspection with due attention. We do it for wedding guests, we are not doing this to loot and impose tickets on wedding guests“- he appealed.

Pinkas also referred to the proposal to introduce a wedding register. “There is a proposal for such registers” – he said. According to the head of GIS the register would contain information on the venue of the wedding and the number of invited guests.
