Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka returned to leave his official car at SD Negeri 113, Nusukan, Tuesday (9/10). This action is a form of reprimand to the school who is found to have violated the rules health protocol when Gibran reviewed the implementation of Face-to-face Learning (PTM) in a number of schools.
The review was carried out when Gibran left for Solo City Hall. He admitted that he found many teachers and students who were not wearing masks when they came to the school.
“Yeah, I saw it right away. Wong“Why did I go there,” he said.
“Obviously those who open the gate don’t wear masks. They don’t wear masks to the teacher’s room. They don’t wear masks to class,” he said when met at the Solo City Hall.
Gibran ensured that the City Government would impose sanctions on teachers who violate the rules. The form of sanctions itself is still being discussed internally at the Solo City Education Office (Disdik).
“Later, let the Head of the (Education) Department execute it,” he said.
Violation of the process is considered a failure of the Principal of SDN 113 Nusukan. He ensured that he would impose tougher sanctions if the violation of the procedure during PTM was repeated.
“This is the last warning. We’ll see. If that’s the case, it means the principal can’t direct it,” he said.
He also regretted that the prokes violation was actually carried out by teachers who were supposed to set an example for students.
“The teacher is an example of wearing a mask. That’s all, simple to. If the teacher wears a mask, the students will obey, imitating the mask. Simple,” he said.
In the aftermath of the violation, as many as 60 teachers and students who were at SDN 113 Nusukan had to undergo a swab test with rapid antigen. The village head of Nusukan, Utik Sri Wahyuni, said the test results of the 60 people were declared negative.
“The swabs were 60 students and teachers. All the swabs that came there were negative,” he said.
Previously, Gibran also visited PTM at SD Muhammadiyyah 3, which is not far from SDN 113 Nusukan. SD Muhammadiyah 3 also held a swab test using the antigen method. It’s just that a swab test was held for screening cases of Covid-19 in the school environment.
“There was no incident at SD Muhammadiyah. All according to the protocol, all wearing masks. So the swab at SD Muhammadiyah is only screening,” said Utik.
This is not the first time that Gibran has left the car at the location of the violation.
The eldest son of President Joko Widodo, the first time he put his car away on the eve of Eid al-Fitr 2021. Gibran left his car at the Gajahan Village Office, Pasar Kliwon District after receiving a report regarding illegal levies from the urban village linmas to business actors in the village.
Gibran left his official car back at the Cemoro Kembar Public Cemetery (TPU), Mojo Village, Pasar Kliwon District after the destruction of crosses at several graves at the TPU.
Finally, Gibran also left his official car in front of SMK Batik 2 because the school will hold a PTM simulation without coordinating with the Solo City Government.
