Via PlayStation Blog It was announced that Ghost of Tsushima will get an update on October 16. This update brings with it the Ghost of Tsushima Legends release, along with a New Game + mode and a cooperative multiplayer mode. The update will be completely free for PlayStation 4 exclusive owners.
Ghost of Tsushima Legends features story missions for up to two players, plus survival missions for up to four players. The enemies will range from the Mongol warriors to creatures from Japanese mythology and will look for quite a bit of challenge. Once you get started with LEgends, you can choose from four character classes: Samurai, Ronin, Assassin and Hunter. Each class has its own advantages, such as the Hunter who is strong with his bow and arrow and the Ronin who is one spirit dog can recall.
Apart from these two modes, a Raid mode will come to Ghost of Tsushima later that will provide even more challenge.
Install another update first
Before you can get started with Ghost of Tsushima Legends you need to install update 1.1. Once you’ve done this, the Legends update will be available for free on PlayStation Store. In Legends, a number of new characters can be found in the cities on the map, including Gyozen the Storyteller. His perspective on everything that happens on the island is very different from what you have seen before. Gyozen is the author of the legends you can follow in the game and he believes that a legend is taking place here too.
If you talk to him, he will gladly tell you all about the ‘Ghosts’ that enrich the game from October 16. For players who are not yet ready to talk to Gyozen, there is an option to join the new adventures that Legends offers via an invitation from a friend.
