Get to know the new Radio Bilbao studios in the Moyúa Building: Virtual tour of the Radio Bilbao headquarters | Radio Bilbao

The new Radio Bilbao facilities occupy the entire sixth floor of the Moyua Building, on Ercilla 24, designed in 1931 by Manuel I. Galíndez Zabala and rehabilitated in 2010. Nestled within the rationalist style, it is characterized by the adoption of concrete structures and the absence of ornamentation.

The company Lopez Landa, specialized in the implementation of corporate headquarters, has been in charge of the comprehensive management of the work necessary to make the new station a reality. “We have tried to integrate it into the building with functional, innovative, versatile and sustainable spaces” assures the architect Juan Alonso, from AV Arquitectura firm, responsible for the project. Alonso has left its mark on the 700 square meters of this new headquarters of the SER string in Euskadi, where white prevails, with stone vertebrae on the ceiling and in the form of columns that run through all the rooms.

The lighting, both natural and artificial, also stands out in the whole, with enormous energy savings thanks to the use of state-of-the-art LED devices. “We have looked for open work spaces. The meeting rooms are integrated as a nod to nature with wooden beams traversed simulating trees and details in green, plus a different light – very warm – to give normality to whoever concentrates there ”, explains the architect.

Regarding the unique furniture, it is worth highlighting the sofas with acoustic walls that gather and surround the conversation in the waiting and relaxation areas.

Cadena SER, 40 Principales and more

This new headquarters welcomes all the brands grouped under the seal of PRISA Radio: the SER string, The main 40, Cadena Dial, M80 Radio and Maximum FM; in addition to the diaries of RUSH: The country, AS and Five days. All of it revolves around a spectacular atrium, twenty meters high, where the Huesca sculptor Vicente García Plana has created a work in corten steel that simulates tree branches and is called “The forest of promises”.
