Gerrard praises Salah who equals his goals in the Champions League

Steven Gerrard praise Mohamed Salah. The Liverpool striker has just matched Gerrard’s tally of goals in the Champions League!

Reporting from Mirror, during his Liverpool uniform Mohamed Salah already scored 21 goals in the Champions League. That equaled the number of goals Steven Gerrard of Champions League Happy 17 years in Liverpool uniforms!

Remarkably, Salah only took three years to reach that number of goals. Salah has also matched Gerrard to present the ‘Big Ear’ trophy for the Reds.

“The number of goals I must one day be solved by other players really, now Salah has done it,” said Gerrard.

Steven Gerrard also praised Mohamed Salah. For him, Salah continues to be Liverpool’s goal machine every season and has never been slack!

“I am proud of him and I hope he continues to make more records,” said Gerrard.

“Salah is a quality player and a hungry player,” continued Gerrard, who now serves as manager of Scottish football club Rangers.

At the start of the 2020/2021 season, Mohamed Salah have played 11 times in all competitions. He has scored nine goals, including seven in the Premier League.

Mohamed Salah’s role in attack is irreplaceable. Salah certainly still wants to score goals.
