Police found the five bodies last Saturday in a family home in the town of Königs Wusterhausen, south of Berlin. A day later, the police announced the find of the letter.

Suicide
The man is said to have committed suicide after killing his wife and children. Both the parents and children were found with gunshot wounds. A firearm was also found. Investigators hold the man responsible for the murders.
