The “German Insurance Award”, which was presented for the fifth time this year by the rating agency Franke and Bornberg, the German Institute for Service Quality and ntv, ensures transparency.

The rating agency Franke and Bornberg and the German Institute for Service Quality analyzed insurers and their products. Franke and Bornberg carried out the product analysis using more than 5,000 insurance data records, with benefits and the amount of contributions forming the basis for the evaluation.
Michael Franke, Managing Director of Franke und Bornberg, knows what this evaluation is like: “Insurance offers protection for many life risks. In an emergency, you have to be able to rely on them. Comprehensive service test
The companies included with the best products were subjected to an extensive service test that included covertly initiated telephone consultations, e-mail inquiries and Internet analysis.
“The benefits and premiums must be attractive, but the insured also expect the company to be customer-oriented. What all award winners have in common is that they offer a convincing combination of attractive conditions and appealing services,” adds Markus Hamer, Managing Director of the German Institute for Service Quality .

A good 850 service contacts were evaluated. The results of the performance analysis accounted for two-thirds and those of the service analysis accounted for one-third of the overall result for the individual categories.
