GERB proposes a new interior minister who is not a police officer




Daniel Mitov is expected to return the mandate of Rumen Radev as he did after the elections in April.


Today, GERB’s candidate for Prime Minister Daniel Mitov will surprise with an Interior Minister who is not one of the structures of the Ministry of Interior. This will happen just before President Rumen Radev hands him a mandate.

However, Mitov will not give the head of state his list of ministers, but will immediately return the mandate unfulfilled, GERB leader Boyko Borissov threatened. And members of the government will be shown as a demonstration of a quality cabinet.

The lawyer has been nominated in the Ministry of Interior Radomir Cholakov, who is a second term MP from GERB. Until late last night, however, it was being debated whether he should be brought to justice. However, the current interior ministers are absent from the cabinet Mladen Marinov and Hristo Terziiski.

He will again have the post of Deputy Prime Minister for the UDF chairman Rumen Hristov. Such was the case with the government option with Prime Minister Mitov, presented after the April 4 elections.

Ekaterina Zaharieva GERB will also be deputy prime minister and foreign minister.

The candidates for ministers of health and education were also undisputed – Kostadin Angelov and Krassimir Valchev.

Rosen Zhelyazkov will be presented as Minister of Transport, a Desislava Taneva of agriculture. Both have already held these positions in Boyko Borissov’s offices.

A well-known name is also provided for the Minister of Labor and Social Policy – Denitsa Sacheva, who also held this position in Borissov’s third government.

Kiril Ananiev, who was both health and finance minister in the third cabinet, is again expected to be in charge of the state treasury.
