Lyon and in the Lyon area? The outgoing mayor of Lyon probably did not expect such a rout. Internal divisions and heavy abstention did not argue in his favor.
In the city, his protégé Yann Cucherat did not manage to do better than 14.92%, almost half the score achieved by the Greens (28.46%). Worse, environmentalists came out on top in 8 of the 9 districts, including in the 9th district, his fief, where he was at the top of the list. But in the metropolis, it is also the cold shower for the former Minister of the Interior.
Right on the right way
Even if the final results were not yet known on the whole territory at 1 am, the figures communicated throughout the evening confirmed the good score of the Greens and the Republicans, who came first in the 10th, 12th and 9th constituencies. And also put in good position the lists of David Kimelfeld, outgoing president who presented himself without a label after falling out of favor with the national authorities of LREM. The latter leads the Val de Saône.
Gérard Collomb, for his part, manages to maintain himself in 5 of the 7 constituencies already unveiled without ever veering ahead. The final results of the last 7 constituencies are still awaited.
