Geraldine Kemper can be seen as a presenter of Geraldine and the Women, in which she follows six women who have experienced sexual violence. RTL reports this on Monday.
The women Kemper speaks to for the series have all developed post-traumatic stress disorder due to sexual assault. In Croatia, they work under the guidance of professional care providers to cope with their trauma. After this trip, the women are guided and followed for another year.
“Sexual violence is a huge taboo. Little is said about it, while it happens a lot,” said Kemper. “I am so proud of these six women who will set an example to many with their stories and their struggle to overcome their trauma.”
Geraldine and the Women can be seen weekly on RTL 4 from Sunday 18 October at 10.30 pm.
