Co-president of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) George Simion declared on Tuesday that he has information that a new political party, of center, will appear on the Romanian political scene, according to Neww.ro.
He added that AUR will work with the future party, saying it knows the party’s creators.
“Until the next election, I am convinced that a new political force will emerge. That’s what happened at every election. And I am convinced that we will get along very well with that political force. Do you think that we are as stupid as the PSD parliamentarians consider us to be without a plan? We are on a nationalist segment. Asked if he knew the founders of the future party, George Simion replied: “I know them and they are honorable people with whom I will enjoy working.”
