George Lucas on screen for ‘The Mandalorian’?

Is George Lucas going to direct an episode of The Mandalorian? That would be cool!

Last year was The Mandalorian a resounding success for Disney + and it even seems that many find the series better than the film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The creator of the franchise, George Lucas, is now possibly in the picture to do something with The Mandalorian to do season two.

Pictures of Lucas already appeared on the set The Mandalorian visits. During that visit he also took a photo with Baby Yoda a.k.a. The Child. Check the photo below – recently shared by Jon Favreau – and then read on about their possible involvement in season two.

Directing an episode?

Lucas has always indicated that he loves directing films. However, he directed only four of the six Star Wars films from the original trilogy and the follow-up trilogy. Many fans now think that Lucas could just return to the director’s chair for an episode of The Mandalorian. And that would not be a bad move at all.

Recently compare Disney boss Mandalorian showrunner Favreau still with George Lucas which indicates that the relationship with Lucas is good. The Mandalorian season two appears this fall.
